X-League

INVERLEIGH X-LEAGUE 2019

Presented by Innova Australia

Inverleigh X-League is a year long disc golf competition. Running from Feb 1st to Nov 24th 2019, the league will be open to both Inverleigh Disc Golf members and casual green fee paying non-members.

The goal of the Inverleigh X-League is simple; to encourage people to get out and play disc golf. We want to give people the opportunity to improve their game whilst having fun with friends and having the chance to win prizes! As one of the tougher courses in the country, we believe Inverleigh will test all parts of your game and make you a better player! It is also one of the newest courses and clubs, so it will be a great way to show your support for the growth of the sport in Victoria.

Below is a full breakdown of how it works. If you’re keen to play, just send a confirmation email to inverleighdiscgolf@gmail.com and we’ll add you in.

The competition operates by players recording their round scores played at the Inverleigh Disc Golf Course using the UDisc app. Each player will be assigned to a division based on their PDGA rating. There are a number of categories which players can win prizes including:

Monthly Raw Score (min. 2 rounds required)

Monthly H/Cap Score (min. 2 rounds required)

BASIC RULES AND LEAGUE CALCULATIONS

For a score to be legitimately recorded, a competitor must play their round with at least one other player.

The competition operates by players recording their round scores played at the Inverleigh Disc Golf Course using the UDisc app. These scores are then transcribed to a spreadsheet to be calculated.

1 round = 18 holes (1-9 red course + 1-9 blue course)

Each player will be assigned to a division based on their PDGA rating. Any player without a PDGA rating will be assigned a division based on their Vic handicap (or based on an assessment of their general ability).

DIVISIONS (PDGA ratings)

The appropriate division for each player is based on their PDGA rating as at Feb 1st 2019:

Division 5: 700-800

Division 4: 801-850

Division 3: 851-900

Division 2: 901-950

Division 1: 951-1000+

A player’s handicap (Victoria-based) will be factored into their round raw scores to find their total handicap score for appropriate categories.
