On Saturday our club proudly hosted a lively and laughter‑filled Ambrose Sponsors’ Appreciation Day, bringing together our valued sponsors and members for a relaxed afternoon of golf, good company, and gratitude.
Teams were made up of both members and sponsors, creating a wonderful mix of familiar faces and new connections. Several novelty holes added an extra layer of fun to the competition, with the standout favourite being our infamous Bradman’s 11th, which kept everyone entertained throughout the day.
The focus of the event was simple: enjoyment, appreciation, and community spirit. After the round, players gathered for a delicious afternoon tea, followed by presentations, prizes, and well‑earned bragging rights.
As a purely volunteer‑run club, we rely heavily on the generosity and ongoing support of our sponsors. Their contributions help us maintain our facilities, run events, and continue offering a welcoming environment for all. We strongly encourage our members to support these businesses in return and extend their thanks whenever possible.
