A day of mild weather with the rain holding off set the scene for a terrific day of golf for this year’s Men’s Open.
A great field of 64 players competed in this year’s Men’s Open. The Men started their day with Bacon and Egg Rolls and at 9 holes were served delicious homemade soup. On returning to the club house a delicious meal of Pulled pork and salad was enjoyed, followed by tiramisu.
Presentations were led by our President Greg Erwin who gave a brief history of the club, noting the hard work and volunteerism of its members that has been, and continues to be, the reason for the club’s existence. He noted that this year was a milestone, being our 75th Annual Open Tournament. Our Captain Michael Hedger announced the results of today’s competitions and Gerry Briody was here to present his family’s Briody Trophy.
Congratulations to all of this year’s winners!
