A picture-perfect winter’s day set the stage for 57 players competing in the Inverleigh Open and Rose Bowl.
Blessed with sunshine, the course looked immaculate, thanks in large part to the hardworking crew (several gentlemen and one lady) who took care of the scraping on every hole.
Players warmed up with our famous homemade soup after nine holes before returning to a lively clubhouse for lunch. Over a delicious meal of cannelloni, fresh salad, and tiramisu, the room buzzed with conversation.
This year’s presentations carried special meaning as we celebrated our 75th Open Tournament. A brief reflection on the club’s history highlighted the strong spirit of volunteerism that continues to drive and improve Inverleigh to this day.
