To Victorian Golf Clubs and Facilities,

Today the Victorian Government announced that in order to reduce hospitalisations, that from 11.59pm tonight the wearing of masks for those over 8 years of age will be compulsory indoors (except in the home).

For those working over the festive season, where it is possible, you are encouraged to work from home.

For those that are attending hospitality venues the government recommends seated service.

For those that are double dosed the government urges you to book your booster shot (3rd dose).

Minister for Health Martin Foley said, “If you’re eligible, it’s vital that you step forward to protect yourself and your loved ones from serious disease, and keep our state safe, open and thriving.” “These changes will help us protect the most vulnerable people in the community while more Victorians go and get their third dose."

Golf Operations and Hospitality Advice

The advice sent to clubs and facilities on 16 December still applies. Clubs and facilities are urged to, where possible, provide seated service to avoid patrons moving around indoors unnecessarily.
